It is important that you learn to live a positive life. This is a personal mental race everyone must run for themselves. A lot of people have lost things and missed out on great life opportunities because they weren’t able to win the battle with their inner self.
I have highlighted 5 ways to a positive mental attitude.
You need to accept yourself even with your imperfections and human limitations and see yourself through God’s eyes, understand that He loves you and you were created in His image and likeness which is perfect, this is the first step to building a positive mental attitude.
You have to make a conscious decision to be positive and optimistic in your perspective towards life. Take control of your emotions and reactions to people and circumstances and choose to think positively daily.
FIND YOUR STRENGTH IN THE WORD OF GOD
The key to a positive mental attitude is to choose to stand on God’s word. A positive mental attitude and faith go together, know what God is saying concerning you and your situation, then you must have faith and trust His word. God’s word will give you peace in any storm because you know the situation is only temporary.
GIVE NO ROOM FOR FEAR
First you have to know that fear is the devil’s strategy to hinder us from fully laying hold of our inheritance in Christ Jesus. Keep in your mind at all times that you are strong and powerful because God is for you, who or what can be against you. Build your confidence in God so nothing will cause you to fear.
PRAISE/ HEART OF GRATITUDE
Praise and gratitude is application for more. Choose to deliberately focus on the positive things in your life while you work towards the things that need perfection. Search your life and highlight the things God has done for you and praise Him over those things instead of concentrating on the things that are not working.
I will like to hear from you in the comments section, which of the points can you totally relate to, is there any other way that works for you that you will like to add, please share.
Thanks for reading.
